FAQs
Clinic address:
The clinic is located at my home address at the side of my house. Please come up the drive and enter through the white door into the waiting area.
Is there parking:
Parking is free and easy, either park on the drive, across the front of the drive or around the corner 20 yards away. If you would like assistance, please call 07895970978 and I will come out to assist you.
What happens at a first appointment:
The first assessment will look at your foot and general health, details of past problems and treatments, if applicable. I may send you an online form for you to complete to cover this information or if you choose not to complete it online, we can discuss any medications you take, allergies you may have and anything else you wish tell me. I will also perform a comprehensive foot exam with neurological and vascular check. From this I will create a treatment plan tailored to meet your needs, with referral to other NHS services if required.
Is there a difference between a podiatrist & a chiropodist:
There is no difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist. The term chiropody has been traditionally used in the UK, but the term podiatry is recognised and used more internationally.
